SLS GX - for demanding miniature and precision welds, uses the unique GreenMix pulse technology, enabling reproducible spot welds on non-ferrous metals down to a diameter of 25 microns. The unique programmable wavelength-mix of 532 and 1064 nm leads on one hand to a safe laser beam deployment for highly reflective materials such as copper and precious metals and provides on the other hand an efficient usage of the total available laser power for the welding process. The laser source SLS GX is particularly suitable for highly reproducible spot and seam welds in medical and electronic industries.
